Hello,
It is my pleasure to recommend the project “Is This Baby Yours?” By Tel- Aviv artist Miri Nishri.
The significance of the project is that it has the potential of bringing together, under one roof, people from many different fields of interest in Israel and abroad, people who have a hand in shaping the reality in which we live.
The project is focuses in an interactive game which the artistic object “the baby” serves as a starting point for a dialogue that touches the quintessence of ethical, genetic, ecological and futuristic elements.
The observer\”father” is invited to complete the work and express his hopes, his dreams, his aspiration for the metaphoric embryo either as his offspring or a renewal of himself or as a representative of the future or as a catalyst to express personal association and by doing so to enable the spectators to participate in his individual view of the upcoming 21’st century.
This invitation endows the recipients with responsibility and in doing so empowers the very essence of the creation.
In conclusion: This is a Fascinating and original project. I warmly recommend it.
