When you handed me the box, and with all your exertion to offer me the task, I thought for a moment that it has to do with a sperm donation.
I was fascinated by the idea of adopting a virtual-readymade-baby, especially that it doesn’t demand any effort, or real commitment.
Miri, the cup of coffee you made me and the exertions were not for nothing.
Because the thought is bound to the laws of reality, the silk-glove suddenly fell off, and the scared hand was shown.
Of course I do not mean your actual hand, but the reality that according to us makes the land a nation.
Normally, which is a virtual state at our country, love and not nationality supposes to decide the future of a baby. Love would have won many exertions and questions about the future of any baby. But in this case I am obliged to think about the consequences of the “experiment” in the future, and my responsibility as part of the “deal”.
The baby’s identity is part of the issue. By which right can I create our child’s “Neve-Shalom” (“Garden of Peace”) in its present range, in a home-land, more correctly, as a refuge country.
In every point in time in which reality is bound to mother-identity and father-nationality, it is better the baby be left as a deep inner thought, throughout which I am born a new human.
I promise to take it all back the moment we’ll fall in love.
