Professor Raphael Carasso
A specialist in neurology
To Miri,
Thank you for the baby. Despite his immaturity I noticed immediately that it
is a female.
Some of the distortions were unpleasant, but this is the baby and as everyone knows, a baby is not something that one chooses.
When you showed me the others I saw some which I liked more. There was one, a twin of the original, the first that was shown to me, that was darker, blacker, maybe more burnt?!
And I thought – shall I take another?
But no, a baby cannot be chosen, a baby is accepted and loved.
And this was my reply to you when you offered me later on to choose a baby, one that I like.
Would I have chosen a different baby than my own?
More beautiful? More clever? More successful? Definitely not me!
A baby that I received as a gift, from whoever (God, Fate, Miri Nishri, Myself) is a child and it does not matter how successful or otherwise he is, he is mine.
One does not change children, one loves children and cares for them and nurtures them.
Thank you for this experience, which hopefully will continue to develop,
And I will report back,
Professor Ralph L. Carrasso
